Be part of a major heritage project celebrating the Railway 200 bicentenary and George Stephenson’s legacy! Holy Trinity Church, Chesterfield, is looking for an experienced Heritage Interpretation Specialist to develop engaging exhibitions, digital storytelling, and educational resources that will bring Chesterfield’s railway history to life for schools, communities, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: Create engaging heritage materials for exhibitions and digital content Work with schools, volunteers, and community groups to develop content Lead workshops, talks, and study visits to engage the public Support volunteers in research and storytelling Curate temporary exhibitions and assist with promotional materials Contribute to the project’s digital media campaign.
Who We’re Looking For: Expertise in heritage interpretation, exhibitions, and storytelling Experience in community engagement and working with volunteers Background in education and learning programme development Ability to collaborate with schools and cultural organisations Strong project management skills and experience working with designers and media professionals.
